Fund Utilization

The fund utilization report gives details concerning the way funds were used in a selected period of time. It shows the amounts issued from a fund selected and how much was paid back or deposited to the fund.

To get to this screen, go to Loans/Portfolio Reports/Analysis Reports/Fund Utilisation.

• Starting Date:  Enter the date on which the Fund utilization report is to begin e.g. "01/05/2015" in the screen above.
• Period:  Enter the number of periods you would like to generate a Fund utilization report about e.g. "3" years as seen above.
• Type:  From the drop down box  specify the type of period that you want to generate a Fund utilization report about it can be in days, Weeks, Months,  Quarters or Years. In the screen above Years is selected, this means the Fund utilization report will cover a period of 3 years.
• Detail:  Check this option in order to get much information about the way a selected fund was used. If unchecked, a summary fund utilization report will be generated which will only show the total amounts to and out of the fund.
• Loan Fund: From the drop down box, select a particular Loan Fund that you want to generate a report about Fund utilization, e.g. Hope for the Poor in the screen above. Here you want to know how much money was in the fund, and how much was issued, paid back and the current available balance. The Loan Fund is set at Menu System/Configuration/Funds.  When you want a report about Fund utilization report for all funds available, then check against the option "Check if for all funds".
• View: If you want to look at the soft copy (on your computer) of the Fund utilization report, then this option should be selected. It can be a summary or a detailed report depending on the other selection made

Basing on the data entered in the first screen on this page, a summarized Fund Utilisation report will be generated that will appear as one below;

Note that From the Fund utilization report above will show the funds movement in and out of it.
